Cancellation Policy

At Coventry Castles, we understand that sometimes plans change. To ensure fairness for all our customers and to help us manage bookings effectively, please review our cancellation policy below:

1. Booking & Deposit

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This will be deducted from the final balance.
  • Your booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been received.

2. Customer Cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking, the following terms apply:

  • More than 14 days’ notice: No further charges will apply. However, the deposit remains non-refundable.
  • Less than 14 days’ notice: 50% of the total hire cost will be charged.
  • Less than 48 hours’ notice: 100% of the total hire cost will be charged.

3. Weather-Related Cancellations

  • Safety is our top priority. If adverse weather (e.g. high winds or heavy rain) makes it unsafe to proceed, we reserve the right to cancel on the day of hire.

In such cases, we will offer either:

    • A full refund of any amount paid excluding the deposit, or
    • The option to reschedule your booking to another available date (deposit will be carried over).

4. Company Cancellations

  • In the rare event that Coventry Castles must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. equipment failure, staff illness), we will issue a full refund, including your deposit.
  • We will do our best to offer an alternative unit or reschedule your booking where possible.

5. Rescheduling

  • If you wish to reschedule your booking for any reason, we require at least 72 hours’ notice. We will try to accommodate your new date, subject to availability. Deposits will be carried over to the new date.
